Concord Academy

Henry David Thoreau had origally founded Concord Academy with his brother John, but it was closed down. The current Concord Academy was founded as a college prep school in 1922, and became co-ed some time in the 1970s. The current Harvard president, its first female president ever,Drew Gilpin Faust, graduated from Concord Academy.

There are two buildings with the signs on Main Street, not far from each other.
