Clean up Your Mouse. ;)
昨天是星期一，二月份的第一个星期一。Garfield 最恨星期一，二月份的星期一更糟糕，因为二月份是一年中的臭胳肢窝。February is the armpit of the year。It’s cold， it‘s miserable， and it’s a whole 11 months till Christmas。
没有办法，日子还得过吧，虫子再大，藏得再深，也得硬着头皮去抓。抓累了，去厨房找东西吃，肚子不饿，就再灌一杯茶。看见 Steve 在水池前洗什么东西。我虽好奇，却也没问什么，公司里光Engineering就有七个Steve，不稀罕。结果他自己说了：“I'm washing the ... ball."
没听清。他和我没有熟悉到那个程度，不应该瞎说，不至于害我到HR那里告他。果然，他又说了，I‘m washing the mouse ball。就是鼠标里的那个小球球。I haven’t cleaned it for 6 months。
哇，还真不知道鼠标是应当定期清洗的，也不知道那个小球球可以取下来安上去，家里有一个小老鼠掉了小球球，我以为不能用了，就把它扔了；还有我常用的那台电脑的小老鼠, right click 早就不沃克了，每次要打开 explorer，我老人家都要将屏幕上的窗口一一挪开或者关闭，然后长途跋涉到 My Computers，left click 才能打开。
表示了足够的惊奇，Steve也革命斗志高涨，一定要拉我去看他的新老鼠：Come on， I‘ll show you。看他Show 完了，兴奋无比：今天又学新东西了，挣了自己的饭票钱。
回家以后，焚香沐浴之后，打开老鼠大人。一缕轻烟飘过，经久不息，下面落下一滩尘土。往里面一瞧，千缠万绕，如亚马逊森林中的树根植物，也象藤校招生榜上乐于刊登的红的黄的爬藤。想照下一张照片留影，笑得太凶，相机都拿不稳。
打扫战场，共清除老鼠垃圾若干两。新老鼠身轻如燕，来去自如，如入无猫之境；right click 一步到位，再也不用求 My Computer，到 start 一点，explorer 束手就擒。
松鼠你接着闹吧，马桶你接着漏吧，草地你接着黄吧，globe 你接着 warming吧, 只要有乖乖小老鼠作伴，I’m a happy camper。

Bah, 只能说明你的是前寒武纪的化石鼠，还带个球--新生代的小老鼠，用不着球了，可以克隆。：）
哈哈。STEVE也给我看他的新老鼠了，没有球球，只有一道红光。不准备马上换。

新老鼠？ Com'on--The digital fashion centers are now in Japan and China! When I brought my tiny flash drive back from Beijing some years ago, my colleagues over here dropped their jaws.:)

See. You missed the point. Your mouse is 5 years old, and mine, since my new discovery, is only one day old.
It's the novelty that fascinates. :)
Mine is optical, but can be broken, too.
